Job Title: Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Job Summary

As an inpatient Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients who require speech therapy to regain independence and quality of life. Your role will involve developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • At least 1 year of experience in inpatient speech therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
