**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at ASD, you will provide direct speech and language services to deaf and hard of hearing students, working under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Director or Designee.

**Responsibilities**

  • Speech and Language Services: Administer diagnostic evaluations, prepare reports, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communicative disorders.
  • Teaching and Instruction: Provide special instruction to deaf and hard of hearing children, including cochlear implanted students, as per IEP requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Confer with colleagues and parents to ensure effective communication and support for students.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as requested.

**Requirements**

  • Mastery's Degree in Speech and Language area from a recognized college or university.
  • State of CT Public Health License in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • CT State Department of Education Certificate in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Preference given to professionals with Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).

**What We Offer**

  • An annual salary of approximately $ **$70,000 - $90,000**, commensurate with experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including group health insurance.
  • $1000 sign on bonus after one year of service.
