Drive Business Growth as a Sr. Field Sales Manager

CCH Incorporated, a leading provider of tax, accounting, and audit information solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Field Sales Manager to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your sales expertise and passion for driving business growth in the tax and accounting industry.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to manage assigned accounts and drive profitable sales growth in our geographic territory.
  • The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for developing and executing business plans to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage extensive product knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and provide regular sales performance updates to leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years' B2B sales experience, including formal sales education/training and/or internal CCH sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving quota and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the tax and accounting industry, including products and services offered by competitors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams) and Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in an inside sales or virtual sales role.
  • 5+ years B2B sales/account management experience with on-premise software or SaaS business application and/or information services.
  • Consultative sales approach with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Consistent President's/Chairman's Club qualifier and achiever of other various sales performance awards.
  • Working knowledge of Tax and/or Accounting concepts and terminology.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, plus bonuses based on individual and company performance.
