Licensed Practical Nurse

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other assigned supervisor.
- Collect and communicate patient data to assist in assessment and care planning.
- Participate as a member of the healthcare team and accept delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting patient needs.
- Deliver care in accordance with patient care plans, policies, and procedures of the organization.
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills, mentor and instruct others, and participate in quality improvement projects.
- Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
- One year of LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Must obtain current LPN license by applicable state requirements prior to start date.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
