Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part Time Representative to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing member purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized front-line department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member purchases in a courteous and efficient manner, including verifying, renewing, and upgrading membership products.
  • Provide excellent customer service, checking members out in a timely and efficient manner, and answering questions about merchandise and promotions.
  • Scan all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
  • Collect payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members, and issue receipts or change as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front-line department, including restocking shelves and assisting with general club housekeeping.
  • Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes, and assist members with operations and technical difficulties.
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving frequently on hard surfaces and occasionally lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
