We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleanliness Specialist to join our team at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

The Cleanliness Specialist is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all guest and public areas of the hotel, as well as delivering guest requested items in accordance with standards and procedures set forth by Forbes, AAA, and Chatham Bars Inn.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering guest requested items in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the housekeeping break room and storage areas
  • Assisting room attendants as needed to ensure seamless service
  • Removing trash, linen, and terry from closets and multi-purpose units
  • Delivering supplies, linen, and terry to closets and multi-purpose units
  • Ensuring all closets and multi-purpose units are kept clean and organized
  • Vacuuming and mopping hallways, staircases, and closets
  • Dusting and polishing all surfaces in guestrooms and public areas
  • Reporting any maintenance deficiencies, guest requests, or complaints to the supervisor
  • Performing carpet maintenance in guestrooms and public areas

Requirements:

  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Follows direction well
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Being flexible and motivated
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • Able to work with cleaning chemicals and products
  • Valid Driver's License
