About the Role
The selected candidate will be integral to the Integrated Aircraft team, collaborating with flight testing, engineering, and manufacturing departments to ensure that flight test aircraft are properly configured and that all necessary verifications are completed. This role requires effective coordination of flight squawk corrections and the lifting of restrictions to facilitate flight testing activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the engineering configuration of aircraft through collaboration with flight test planning and the engineering organization.
- Support the safety checklists essential for the experimental airworthiness certificate and operating limitations.
- Contribute to updates on engineering lessons learned.
- Plan and oversee the installation of major alterations approved by engineering, supported by safety and certification verification.
- Develop and authorize minor alterations to aircraft in support of flight testing.

- Utilize advanced engineering knowledge of aircraft components and systems to ensure actions are taken to optimize aircraft availability and meet short-term flight test objectives set by the Flight Test Program Manager.
- Maintain awareness of flight test objectives and schedules to prioritize work effectively.

Interface and Communication
- Act as the primary liaison between flight test and engineering subject matter experts to resolve issues identified during flight testing.
- Assist Flight Test Engineers in generating post-flight squawks to ensure comprehensive data collection.
- Prioritize squawks based on severity and timelines to drive corrective actions efficiently.

- Monitor engineering JIRA tickets to ensure that design fixes and changes are incorporated into flight test aircraft as necessary.
- Update squawks and closure actions with engineering analysis and maintenance execution to support upcoming flight test operations.

Maintenance and Documentation
- Review requests for changes to flight test aircraft to ensure that engineering data and work instructions are detailed enough for maintenance technicians.
- Participate in aircraft maintenance planning to efficiently incorporate changes, test installations, inspections, and component replacements.
- Maintain accurate aircraft documentation to reflect the current configuration and status as determined by Flight Test Program Coordinators.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in flight testing, aircraft development programs, and maintenance operations.
- Proven expertise in technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and from multiple locations, including remote work.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex engineering projects.
- Self-motivated to address open-ended technical and scheduling challenges.
