Job Summary

Apple is seeking an exceptional Hardware Engineer to join our Camera Technologies group. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop groundbreaking ideas for camera systems, from sensor to lens. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting a magical photography experience that redefines what millions of customers can expect from their cameras.

Key Responsibilities

- Design camera module structures in CAD, ensuring precision and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products.
- Interface with component part and camera manufacturing partners on design manufacturability and resolution of mechanical issues.

Requirements

- Proficient in CAD 3D modeling and 2D drafting, with experience in plastic injection molding, sheet metal design, and material surface foundation in mechanical design principles, material knowledge, and FEA.
- Proven track record in transitioning designs into mass production, ensuring rigorous quality control and reliability standards.
