Job Title: Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hardware specifications, test plans, and bring up hardware with ASIC teams
  • Use Cadence/Allegro to capture schematics and debug issues in the lab using analyzers, scopes, and other lab debug tools
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, including diagnostics software, mechanical, signal integrity, thermal, and manufacturing teams
  • Develop and implement power delivery and distribution techniques, and experience with CPLDs and FPGAs
  • Hands-on board design knowledge and familiarity with design tools, including Cadence Concept and Allegro
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to map high-level requirements into actionable milestones
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in system-level development, preferably in the server/computer/network industry
  • Experience with lab bring up and design validation, and knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Perl
  • Strong understanding of control interfaces, such as PCIe, MDIO, SPI, and I2C
  • Experience with high-speed design and signal integrity, and knowledge of Ethernet, high-speed SerDes interfaces, and X86 architecture
