Job Summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
  • Complete all post-processing functions, including image analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure the utilization of established protocols and techniques for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Perform related record-keeping and patient-care functions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R).
  • BLS certification required.
  • Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) preferred.
