Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Grady Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Studies: Perform comprehensive CT imaging studies for patients, ensuring precision and quality in every scan.
  • Equipment Operation: Master the full range of CT scanner capabilities and associated technologies.
  • Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the optimization of patient flow and study throughput.
Requirements
  • Education: Prior to January 1, 2015: Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and a High School Diploma or GED. Effective January 1, 2015: Associate's Degree and a certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a Registered Technologist, Radiation Therapist; OR currently enrolled in an approved ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Program, with CT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) expected within one year of hire.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in any primary modality (Nuc Med, Radiation Therapy, or Radiography) to be classified as a Registered Technologist. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Certification by the ARRT is preferred.
