Job Description

To deliver exceptional nursing care and supervision in a dynamic healthcare setting. As an Outpatient Nurse Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and overseeing the clinical support staff at Hunterdon Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initial Patient Intake and Assessment
  • Patient Room Preparation and Aftercare
  • Patient Orders and Point of Care Services
  • Ensuring Patient Safety and Quality Care
  • Supervising Clinical Support Staff and Maintaining a Clean Clinical Area
Work Contacts:

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including physicians, residents, patients, family members, and outpatient office staff personnel.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to: Practice Manager

Supervises: Health Center Clinical Support Staff

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of nursing experience and managerial experience (Required)
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current New Jersey RN license and CPR certification (Required)
Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
