Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Capital Health, you will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized comfort measures for patients, fostering an environment that supports the core mission of the organization, and serving as an advocate for patients and families. You will also be expected to provide emotional and informational support, assist patients and families in identifying individualized comfort measures, and initiate plans of care based on Capital Health's core mission principles.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options, and coordinate care to ensure seamless transitions between departments and levels of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse licensure in New Jersey
  • One year of related experience or training
  • AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and carrying objects, as well as occasional climbing and sitting. The sensory requirements include very accurate 20/40 vision, near vision, color discrimination, and accurate depth perception. Anticipated occupational exposure risks include bloodborne pathogens, chemical exposure, airborne communicable disease, and dust/particulate matter.
