Position Overview

US Facilities, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Building Operations Engineer. This position is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Building Operations Engineer will work independently to conduct preventive, corrective, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include:

  • Responding promptly to emergency situations and system failures.
  • Performing routine maintenance to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting HVAC systems, steam boilers, and chillers.
  • Ensuring proper distribution of utilities, including steam and chilled water, to maintain comfortable facility conditions.
  • Occasionally overseeing the work of other staff members.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid Class A Engineer's license.
  • A CFC Universal Certificate.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with fire alarm system panel controls and building automation system (BAS) programming.
  • Two years of operational experience in boiler and chiller rooms.
  • Knowledge of high-pressure steam operations and heat transfer principles.
