Job Title: Lead Building Engineer

Elliott-Lewis Corporation is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment at a high-rise office building in Center City Philadelphia.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight and direction of facility maintenance employees
  • Management of maintenance staff in operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical and HVAC systems
  • Collaboration with the Facilities Manager, building owner, and representatives to ensure facility maintenance standards are met
  • Response to and resolution of service calls and emergency situations
Requirements
  • Training in a related field (high school level education or GED)
  • Minimum 6 years of facilities management experience, including supervisory or management roles
  • Aptitude for assessing building support functions
  • Ability to operate computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Preferred Skills
  • Class "A" Engineers license (Philadelphia)
  • CFC Certification (desired but not mandatory)
  • Driver's License in good order
