About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Elliott-Lewis | Sautter Crane | AA Duckett. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment
  • Assess building support functions, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Operate and functionally use a computer and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Work under general supervision and maintain professional competence and ethical integrity
  • Read and comprehend complicated materials and instructions, and communicate verbally and in writing
Requirements
  • High school level education or general education degree (GED)
  • Aptitude for assessing building support functions
  • Ability to operate a computer and CMMS
  • Working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Ability to work under general supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class "A" Engineers license (Philadelphia)
  • CFC Certification
  • Driver's License in good order
  • Vocational training through trade school or bachelor's degree
Physical Requirements
  • Consistently required: walking, standing, bending, or twisting
  • Frequently required: bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling
  • Occasionally required: working with arms raised over head, max carries 75lbs, push/pull 40-75lbs, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, working from or on ladders, working at heights, exposure to high sound levels, operate motorized equipment
