We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wernersville State Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care and treatment services to consumers residing at our state mental hospital. This includes performing ongoing assessments of patients, utilizing nursing diagnosis, and implementing treatment plans. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting patient care and treatment plans, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care and treatment services to consumers
- Perform ongoing assessments of patients and utilize nursing diagnosis
- Implement treatment plans and document patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient psychiatric component of nursing care in correlation with treatment plan performance goals
- Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Current, valid PA Registered Nurse license or PA temporary practice permit
- Ability to perform essential job functions
We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement. Full-time employment with a 4-week pattern, working every other weekend and holidays as assigned. Overtime may be required, subject to emergency call-in.
