Electroneurodiagnostics Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Electroneurodiagnostics Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our neurodiagnostics department, you will be responsible for performing electroneurodiagnostic testing, setting up and preparing equipment, and reviewing patient history to provide education and monitor patient condition.
Responsibilities- Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, EP, and PSG procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and supplies for ordered tests
- Review patient history, obtain necessary information, and provide education to patients
- Monitor and document patient condition at all times and report any adverse reactions
- Operate and maintain various equipment to obtain diagnostic data
- Recognize and correct for artifacts
- Score, graph, document, and report results of diagnostic procedures
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
- One or more of the following certifications: Electroencephalographic Technician, Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit, Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential, or Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
