Job Summary:

This position is responsible for partnering with the athletic director, coaches, physicians, and the Affiliate Director to ensure strong relationships with affiliate and local physicians, and to provide the highest level of care for each athlete. The successful candidate will have a commitment to the affiliation, including hands-on care, triage to appropriate resources, and utilizing written and verbal communication to integrate the sports medicine program into the affiliate.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a strong sports medicine team, the Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive and coordinated care to athletes, while assisting and monitoring rehabilitation treatment plans specific to the athlete and injury. The candidate will independently manage the relationship with the affiliate, maintaining a positive work atmosphere and communicating effectively to achieve positive outcomes. The Athletic Trainer will also participate in ATI foundation activities and showcase ATI spirit to athletes, coaches, and the community.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong work ethic. They will possess knowledge of Athletic Training and continuing trends in the industry, as well as strong time management skills and attention to detail. The candidate will also be able to travel between affiliates, events, and clinics, and work extra events as assigned. Certification by the Board of Certification of the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and appropriate state licensure are required.
