Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Emerge Center. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological assessment and treatment services to children with developmental disabilities, psychological disorders, and behavioral problems, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child and family.
- Provide evidence-based psychological services, including traditional therapy, group therapy, and feeding therapy, to promote positive behavioral change and improve overall well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychological assessment and treatment to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field and current licensure to practice psychology in the state of Louisiana.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of special education curriculum, applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, and research.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, behavioral problems, and psychological disorders.
