Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project contracts and specifications comprehensively.
  • Support the Project Manager, Project Superintendent, and Project Engineer as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation and ongoing updates of project schedules.
  • Contribute to quantity reporting, project cost management, and financial forecasting.
  • Gather pricing information from subcontractors and suppliers, including adjustments for change orders.
  • Coordinate the requisition of equipment and material deliveries as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce to address project challenges and conflicts.
  • Assist in monthly billing processes, cash flow projections, and the management of change orders.
  • Oversee document control, including submittal schedules, contract documents, and project record drawings.
  • Review daily reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain essential technical documentation, including submittal lists, permits, and project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all notice requirements, including inspections and utility adjustments.
  • Issue communications to subcontractors and vendors regarding changes in plans or specifications.
  • Support project closeout activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Management.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the civil construction sector, encompassing both office and field roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Primavera P6.
