Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process, utilizing data collection and assessment to identify and prioritize patient needs. The LPN coordinates and provides patient teaching activities, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to gather relevant data on patient needs
- Collect and report assessment data in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop and maintain patient plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff members on healthcare topics
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment
- IV certification may be required for certain specialties
