- Develops both long-term and short-term plans, setting milestones and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Assigns project tasks to team members based on their strengths and ensures accountability.
- Effectively manages and provides oversight on significant government contracts delivering Information Technology (IT) support.
- Generates fiscal reports on projects, including earned value and cost-to-complete metrics.
- Leads and directs a team engaged in various IT engineering disciplines, focusing on research, technology, design, development, and operations.
- Implements short- and long-term planning and innovation strategies for contract and corporate activities.
- Manages human resource programs and oversees fiscal responsibilities.
- Establishes and enforces operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Ensures all company activities align with contract provisions and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT or computer science field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with individuals at various organizational levels and federal clients.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technology system development lifecycles and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile Project Management.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities, adept at managing skilled teams of diverse sizes.
- Proficient in handling multi-customer, multi-user consolidated contracts.
- Robust analytical skills.
- Proven management capabilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Expertise in IT support services principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in information systems planning and applications.
- Excellent interaction and diplomacy skills.
- Able to manage projects and personnel across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology tools such as DevOps (an Azure product).
- At least 5 years of experience in IT contract management.
- A minimum of 3 years of government experience in a similar role.
- 3 years of experience in managing personnel.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager for government IT support services.
- Experience managing up to 20 employees in a government contract environment.
