The Goodkind Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join our Real Estate Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with a New York or New Jersey law firm, with a focus on secured creditor enforcement.
Responsibilities:
- Independently handle all aspects of secured financing enforcement proceedings, including diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages.
- Draft and argue dispositive motions and injunction papers, as well as prepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and appeals.
- Handle State and Federal Court appearances and mediations, utilizing strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal research and writing skills, with strong communication skills for client interactions. Admission to practice in New York and/or New Jersey is required.
