Prime Services and Securities Financing Transactions Attorney, Vice President

We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our Prime Services and Securities Financing Transactions Legal team. The successful candidate will provide transactional and advisory support for a range of securities financing products and the Prime Brokerage business unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advising on Prime Brokerage services, including bespoke margining and financing arrangements, custody, clearing, and settlement.
Providing legal advice on the use of market infrastructure, such as CCPs, trading venues, custodians, and central securities depositories.
Giving strategic advice to Prime leadership on reputational and regulatory issues, including potential regulatory change and broader financial industry developments.
Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of transactional documents, including coordination with internal negotiation teams and management of external counsel.
Advising on the implementation of and ongoing compliance with key relevant regulations and associated obligations.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of legal experience post-law school.
Ability to apply legal concepts to complex prime brokerage and trading scenarios and explain them in an understandable way.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Dynamic approach, with an intellectual curiosity that will enable you to develop within the role and effectively identify legal issues and/or risk.
Team-oriented, with the ability to work within a collegiate environment with multiple stakeholders across different locations.
Ability to prioritize work effectively, be proactive in a challenging business environment, and respond to client demands in a timely manner.
