The Role:

Lomi is on a mission to eliminate waste from everyday life. Our goal is to remove 10 billion pounds of waste from the global waste stream by 2028. Currently, Lomi is part of over 200,000 households, helping to create nutrient-rich fertilizer that regenerates soil and reduces carbon emissions. The Sales Ambassador will support our business development team and key partners by ensuring an exceptional customer experience at various retail events. As a Sales Ambassador, you will represent our brand, engaging with customers to deliver compelling product demonstrations. Your goal will be to highlight the unique advantages of our products and drive sales during events.

This position also involves supporting our sales team in various capacities and contributing to the growth of our initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring genuine enthusiasm for our mission to each event, sharing the vision of a sustainable future with shoppers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys social interactions and can adapt to different environments. Compensation includes an hourly wage plus uncapped commission, with both full-time and part-time options available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets for each event.
  • Set up and dismantle the product display at the beginning and end of each event.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff upon arrival and ensure a tidy workspace before departure.
  • Engage with all customers visiting the display.
  • Actively promote and sell products during demonstrations, converting interest into sales.
  • Follow the schedule provided by your manager.
  • Maintain punctuality and clear communication.
  • Present a professional appearance in line with job requirements.
  • Ensure proper product display and maintain an organized area.
  • Participate in training sessions as needed.
  • Serve as a representative of our brand while adhering to all policies.
  • Follow health, safety, and privacy guidelines.
  • Act with integrity and align with our culture and values.
  • Assist the sales team with additional requests and projects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (retail experience preferred).
  • Must be friendly, energetic, and sociable.
  • Results-oriented and driven by goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary (mileage reimbursed).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs for setup and breakdown.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
