Overview

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the daily operation of radiology patient services.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and educate staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform advanced procedures as needed.
  • Schedule and provide direction to Radiologic Technologists.
  • Coordinate the flow of patients through diagnostic procedures.
  • May perform routine and complex radiologic procedures.
  • Assist radiologists in evaluating new products and equipment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of x-ray equipment and resolve any malfunctions.
  • Establish quality measures and standards.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and address problems by providing employees with feedback on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and conduct employee training programs.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience, including at least one (1) year supervisory or Level 3 RT experience.
