Overview

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the daily operation of radiology patient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and educate staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform advanced procedures as needed to support patient care
  • Schedule and provide direction to Radiologic Technologists
  • Coordinate the flow of patients through diagnostic procedures
  • May perform routine and complex radiologic procedures
  • Assist radiologists in evaluating new products and equipment
  • Oversee the maintenance of x-ray equipment and resolve any malfunctions
  • Establish quality measures and standards
  • Conduct employee evaluations and address problems by providing feedback
  • Develop and conduct employee training programs
  • Regularly meet with and communicate operational changes to staff
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience, including at least one (1) year supervisory or Level 3 RT experience
