Job Title: Perioperative Services Director

Children's Health (Dallas) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Director to lead our Perioperative Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing information, providing decision support, and collaborating with physicians and physician office managers to ensure the optimal performance of our Perioperative Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage information and data related to Perioperative Services, including OR utilization, quality data, and clinical resource decisions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and physician office managers to ensure quality data is available to support decisions that meet a balance of both clinical and organizational objectives.
  • Lead the operational performance of Perioperative Services through metrics and KPIs.
  • Complete capital equipment and supply requests in the Perioperative Services Departments and manage equipment, instrumentation, and supplies to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with OR and SPD team leaders for stock and consignment Inventory Control.
  • Accurately account for charges and invoices for Perioperative Service resources and supplies.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure we are not overspending on supplies/shipping costs.
  • Provide reporting for OR efficiency meetings.
  • Work with leaders on OR Optimization priorities and goals through data analysis.
Requirements:
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; EPIC Certification (Preferred).
