Parts Counter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter to join our team at North American Truck & Trailer, Inc. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of parts identification, and the ability to process orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Parts Identification: Utilize knowledge of parts catalogs, computer systems, and databases to identify and locate the correct parts for customers.
- Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders for parts that are not in stock, tracking the order's progress, and providing updates on delivery times.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of parts, monitoring stock levels, and reordering parts as necessary.
- Technical Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of the products being sold, providing technical advice and guidance to customers as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Assist customers in troubleshooting issues with parts, providing advice on installation, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and customer orders, providing data for financial reporting and restocking purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as service and sales teams, to ensure a smooth flow of parts and information.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs occasionally
