Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Clinical Healthcare Professional

As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting health and wellness in our communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, offering guidance on medication usage and awareness of potential interactions.
- Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
- Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and enhance patient experience.
Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve patient issues in a timely manner and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and joyful experience, including interpersonal habits that show care and Walgreens service traits.
Operations:Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, over-the-counter products, and refer to medical providers as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly and health needs are addressed.
Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Review, interpret, and accurately dispense prescribed medications when necessitated by workload.
Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards.
Training & Personal Development:Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations to provide such clinical services.
Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy-related journals, company publications, and communications.
Obtain necessary certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, as required by the Company.
Seek professional development by monitoring one's performance, soliciting constructive feedback, and leveraging pharmacy manager and store manager as mentor and coach.
