Senior Construction Project Leader

Community Contractors, Inc. is a reputable General Contractor/Construction Manager based in Grand Forks, ND. We are in search of a skilled Senior Construction Project Leader to enhance our team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, adept project risk management skills, and strategic planning expertise. The Project Leader will be accountable for fulfilling client expectations regarding quality, budget adherence, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the complete project lifecycle from initial design through to final closeout.
  • Identifying and addressing potential challenges within project plans.
  • Estimating total time and material requirements for the project.
  • Coordinating workforce needs with the project superintendent and relevant personnel.
  • Engaging in the project bidding process by delivering precise information and estimates.
  • Offering insights and recommendations based on extensive experience.
  • Supervising the project site superintendent.
  • Monitoring project expenditures, change orders, and assessing cost variations.
  • Overseeing the construction budget effectively.
  • Managing RFI, ASI, Submittal, and Change Order documentation.
  • Collaborating with Owners, Design Teams, and the project superintendent.
  • Conducting site visits to ensure project alignment.
  • Assisting in the resolution of billing discrepancies and conflicts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management experience.
  • Proficiency in essential computer applications and project management software.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
