About the Role:

The Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity ReStore is seeking a skilled ReStore Donor Relations Manager to strengthen and create relationships with donors, suppliers, and local partners in the community. This role is crucial in supporting the success of our ReStore operations and ultimately, our mission at Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community donors, including those who donate goods and products to the ReStore.
  • Collaborate with the ReStore team to identify and prioritize donation needs and effectively communicate these needs to potential donors.
  • Coordinate with the ReStore staff to ensure efficient and effective donation processing and inventory management.
  • Plan and execute special events and promotions to engage the local community and generate support.
  • Arrange donation pickups accurately and efficiently.
  • Outreach to donors and potential donors in the community.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of relevant experience in donor relations or nonprofit development OR 4-year degree in related field preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with donor management and CRM software is a plus.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity's Mission and Values.
