We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at NMC Health.

Job Overview

Nuclear Medicine Technologists play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing their clinical skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage, and elevate patient care.

About the Role

This hourly, non-exempt position is responsible for providing customer service with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of all duties.

The successful candidate will be able to delegate patient care assignments and duties based on the ability of coworkers, while also reporting to the Imaging Department Medical Director.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage, and elevate patient care using clinical skills and critical thinking
  • Utilize knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Radiation Safety regulations

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent, with current ARRT Registered or CNMT certification. Additionally, they should hold current Radiologic Technologist Licensure by the State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts and Certification in CPR/BLS. Experience working in a healthcare environment with excellent communication and teamwork skills is preferred.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is estimated at $50,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
