Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist - Inpatient Services to join our team at FCS, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires the administration of medications, monitoring patient responses, and providing age-appropriate care for patients ranging from adults to older adults.
As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for identifying maladaptive or pathological responses in patients, promoting independence, interdependence, and responsibility, and maintaining a therapeutic and safe milieu. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and be registered and in good standing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and previous psychiatric nursing experience are preferred but not required.
