Job Summary

NMC Health is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the infection prevention program.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Patient Outcomes.

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate the infection prevention program at NMC Health.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement evidence-based practices and promote a culture of safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to infection control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Five years' experience working in healthcare, preferably in infection control or quality improvement.
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Kansas.
  • CIC certification preferred or willingness to obtain within two years.
