We are currently seeking a passionate Sports Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at one of Charlotte's premier sports stations. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong enthusiasm for sports and have a proven track record in sales. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your marketing expertise to promote audio, digital, podcasting, and live event experiences for our clients and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountability for performance metrics against established budgetary goals.
  • Identifying and pursuing new target accounts while developing and converting them into key clients through tailored marketing strategies.
  • Implementing digital marketing initiatives and coordinating live event activations.
  • Conducting research and presenting data to demonstrate clients' return on investment.
  • Building trust and maintaining the highest standards of personal integrity.
  • Regular engagement with clients at their business locations.
  • Ensuring effective communication across departments on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Managing administrative tasks, including timely submission of paperwork and maintaining client files.

  • Participating in professional development workshops and staying informed about industry trends.
  • Conducting biannual performance appraisals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

An Associate degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of business-to-business sales experience, ideally within the media or sports sectors. A successful history of managing major accounts, along with experience in web sales and CRM systems, is advantageous. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
