Electrical Engineer Job Description

Planate Management Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to meet required specifications.

This position will be based in Kuwait and requires a Secret Clearance. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform design work for new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities
  • Interpret and adapt traditional methods and approaches in developing design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specifications
  • Responsible for selected construction inspections, quality control, and submittal reviews
  • Develop cost estimates and time schedules, review and analyze preliminary and final designs, plans, and specifications
  • Prepare necessary correspondence, technical reports, contract documents, fact sheets, and status reports
  • Monitor and/or manage projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
  • Minimum four (4) years of design experience and capability of complete design and investigative services
  • Experience in controls systems designs and proficiency in AutoCAD 2012 or later
  • Excellent communications, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills
