Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly team member to perform general cleaning duties in designated areas of a school. As an Apprentice School Custodian, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with weekends off and great union benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities to a high standard
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Notify managers of the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company and regulatory authorities
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required, with on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience
