Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant Apprentice to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization, providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical providers in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist medical providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing lab results, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
