Job Summary

The Business Planning Role within Global Realty serves as a program leader on numerous business topics across the portfolio of the team. This role is responsible for delivering Real Estate expertise, resources, and products that exceed industry standards to internal Amazon customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage deliverables for weekly, monthly, annual, and multi-year planning and business reviews within Global Realty.
  • Execute the annual goals planning process.
  • Implement systems that ensure strong follow-up management occurs on action items and questions with relevant senior leaders.
  • Manage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ensure time is focused on the highest value activities and issues.
  • Build and manage agendas for leadership meetings and off-sites.
  • Provide an independent perspective and act as a sounding board for ideas.
  • Create content for periodic update emails and all-hands meetings as well as internal and external presentations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Conversational level fluency in Japanese.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
