About the Role:
This role is part of a collaborative team focused on providing crisis assessments and referrals for individuals with behavioral health diagnoses or substance use disorders.
Crisis Center Services:
We offer immediate crisis stabilization and emergency support for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises, ensuring they receive timely assessments, treatment, and ongoing support.

Work Schedule: Hour shifts

Compensation: Based on experience and licensure.

Licensed Clinical Professionals starting at $28/hour
  • No on-call duties

RHA Behavioral Health Services is in search of a committed and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to enhance our interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing services at our Crisis Center. In this dynamic position, you will conduct assessments, deliver care, and implement treatment plans while adhering to RHA's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include delivering direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric and substance use disorders in a crisis setting, ensuring their safety and well-being, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

Additional duties include:
  • Triage assessments
  • Conducting crisis evaluations
  • Providing clinical recommendations and case management
  • Exhibiting de-escalation techniques and a solution-focused approach
  • Performing IVC First evaluations
Qualifications:
  • Preferred qualifications: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, or relevant associate-level license
  • Valid driver's license and automotive insurance required
  • Crisis intervention experience is essential
Pre-employment Requirements:
  • Comprehensive criminal background check
  • Verification against registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug screening
  • Education verification and credentialing as per position requirements
  • Proof of employment history or references (if applicable)
  • For positions requiring driving: Proof of driver's license, insurance, and vehicle, if necessary for client transportation
