Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As an Additional Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing 5-star customer service while performing our additional services, including termite, mosquito, insulation, exclusion, German roach, rodent and wildlife removal, flea/tick and bed bug treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Complete installation of our additional services, including exclusion and/or manual solutions to building interiors and exteriors for rodent control.
  • Provide remediation services to crawl spaces and attics for rodent control and thermal improvement.
  • Work with inspectors to provide the best solutions for customers to help our customers maintain a high quality of life.
  • Work effectively and safely with all tools and equipment, maintaining these tools and equipment.
  • Interact with customers, face-to-face, to explain service features and benefits.
  • Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate and organized service records.
  • Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the Company Vehicle Policy.
  • Drive a box truck when required, adhering to DOT and safety requirements in addition to adhering to Company Box Truck Policy.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and tools by reporting to the branch for restocks, and the checking in/out of equipment.
  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, and training; this includes participation in on-site meetings and trainings.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance carrier may make some age-based exceptions) and possess an active driver's license with an MVR that meets insurance requirements.
  • Have a commitment to safety in all job areas, including driving, service, job site, ladder, roof and training.
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, and some holidays.
  • Must earn and maintain state-required training and licensing (provided).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and are comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces and on roofs.
  • OSHA certified on ladder safety.
  • Have working knowledge and understanding of construction.
  • Have basic handy skills and experience working with ladders and power tools.
  • Have experience installing and removing insulation.
  • Have a pest control license and/or experience working in pest control.
