Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Produce Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Paragon Staffing, LLC. As a Produce Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of fresh produce during the growth and harvest process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct physical inspections of fresh produce to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Grading and Classification: Grade produce according to USDA guidelines and classify it based on quality, condition, weights, and size.
  • Temperature Control: Ensure that produce is stored at the proper temperature to maintain its quality.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pass/fail grades and weights of products.
  • Collaboration: Work with USDA Produce Inspectors to resolve any quality issues and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a produce inspector or in a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office, good math, technical, and communication skills, and a strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
Work Schedule

This position is available for 2nd shift and 3rd shift only.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $22-$24 per hour.
