Airship is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Developer to join our team. This role will be responsible for deploying and maintaining core cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities:
  • • Deploy and maintain core cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
  • • Build and maintain tooling, automation, and monitoring infrastructure in Python
  • • Advise, monitor, and support company efforts around cost, security, disaster recovery, and compliance

Requirements:

  • • At least 2-3 years of Linux and command line experience
  • • Professional programming/automation experience (Python, Go, Java, bash, etc)
  • • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • • Knowledge and experience with networking fundamentals
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • • Demonstrated ability to work remotely in close collaboration with a team

Bonus Points:

  • • Software development fundamentals and experience, (especially professional)
  • • Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
  • • Production usage of Python, Java, Go, or other general purpose programming language
  • • Web/network security, including TLS, permissions management, vulnerability management, security best practices, etc
  • • Database and storage technologies, including RDBMS like Postgres/Mysql, columnar stores like Bigtable/Cassandra, and block storage like GCS/S3
  • • Container and container orchestration systems, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • • CI/CD systems, including Github Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc

Salary: $105,680 - $128,000 per year, plus bonus and performance incentives. We offer a robust benefits package, including flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional growth.
