Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac CT Technologist to join our esteemed cardiology practice in the Dallas area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations in a safe and therapeutic manner, delivering quality service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures at a technical level, requiring minimal supervision.
Regulate equipment to expose, develop, and document imaging via PACS.
Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and necessary supplies.
Verify patient identification and physician orders.
Obtain patient history and explain procedures to patients and families.
Observe and monitor patients, responding to their questions and concerns.
Provide film/scan critiques as needed, ensuring high-quality images.
Clean and disinfect exam rooms and equipment, maintaining a safe environment.
Enter data into the EMR and PACS system, ensuring accurate records.
Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives, driving excellence in patient care.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Texas Radiological License.
CT certification and CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum of four to six years' experience in CT imaging, with a strong understanding of quality improvement and standards of care.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and external vendors.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make quick technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
