Cardiac CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac CT Technologist to join our esteemed cardiology practice, serving the Dallas and Rockwall areas. As a Cardiac CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations in a safe and therapeutic manner. You will deliver quality service to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Regulate the equipment used to expose, develop and document via PACS imaging.
Prepare exam rooms, equipment and necessary supplies.
Verify patient identification and physician orders.
Obtain patient history and explain procedures to patients/families.
Observe and monitor patients.
Respond to patient questions and concerns.
Provide film/scan critiques as needed.
Clean and disinfect exam rooms and equipment.
Enter data into the EMR and PACS system.
Participate in quality and/or process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Texas Radiological License.
CT certification.
CPR / BLS certification.
Minimum of four to six (4-6) years' experience in CT imaging.
