Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cash handling procedures, including preparing cash deposits, change orders, and entering statistical data.
  • Participate in requisition order fulfillment, delivery, and billing.
  • Prepare and serve drinks and foods according to patient specifications, including therapeutic diet orders and patient safety modifications.
  • Record patients' intakes, including nutrient-specific intakes, accurately per established procedures.
  • Provide menu information and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods as assigned.
  • Assist with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
  • Maintain, clean, and sanitize workstations, tables, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and return them to their designated locations.
  • Refill condiments and other food and supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts.
  • Detail-oriented, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize.
