ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
Knowhirematch is a premier tier one supplier in the automotive sector, focusing on the design and manufacturing of plastic injection molded and electronic components. Our facility integrates product design, mold engineering, production processes, and dedicated teams across Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Quality Control Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership to ensure the operational effectiveness of the Quality Control department.
- Set clear expectations and help achieve departmental goals through performance management and feedback.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the quality assurance framework.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and product performance to enhance overall quality.
- Address budgetary considerations and manage customer complaints efficiently.
- Communicate regularly with upper management to ensure supplier quality and minimize customer issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing context.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards.
- Analytical skills with effective communication abilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- General office setting for five hours daily.
- Manufacturing environment for three hours daily.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for training or essential functions.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
