We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Line Technician to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing high-level repetitive work to quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies on various production lines, adhering to predetermined quality control methods and sequences.
- Operate a variety of machines and tools, including power pneumatic and hand tools, to perform job duties.
- Read, understand, and apply method sheets and assembly diagrams, as well as follow verbal and written instructions.
- Use senses to detect quality defects and unsafe conditions, and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain and inspect tools and equipment, and create work orders for repairs as needed.
- Support quality management systems by delivering high-quality products and services, and meeting quality objectives.
- Work in a team environment, assisting coworkers in other areas as needed, and participate in operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required.
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with and ability to utilize hand and power tools, including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
- Experience operating fork trucks and hoists preferred.
- Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
- Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business processes.
- Ability to work within a team and perform work in a variety of environments.

- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift with assistance up to 80 pounds.
